The 5.5-inch Remington offers nice balance and accuracy and was beautifully finished. Metal-to-metal fit was tight, and the wood grips were well fitted. It pointed nicely.

Here are the Remington 1858 revolver clones in action. Top is the 8-inch-barrel Uberti brand, and bottom is the 5.5-inch-barrel Taylor’s & Co. pistol. The cartridge-conversion cylinders make them much easier to shoot and enjoy.
The 5.5-inch Remington offers nice balance and accuracy and was beautifully finished. Metal-to-metal fit was tight, and the wood grips were well fitted. It pointed nicely.
