Interservice Pistol Championship 2008 Begins This Week

Participants invited are individuals and teams of the Armed Services of the United States, Reserve Components, and military academies and commissioning program. Entries will be restricted to Open Class only (no categories or classes). This is a military-only closed match.

However, a warm-up match set for June 7 and 8 is open to to civilians and military, and it’s a great way to see some of the best shooters in the country go head to head.

The warm-up match will be a two-day NRA registered event, Open Class only, no categories or classes. Day one will be a two-gun event, one in .22 cal and a centerfire match shooting a 600-point aggregate per gun.

Day two will be the .45 cal and Service Pistol shooting another 600 point aggregate per gun, for a total of 2400 point aggregate over the course of two days. The course of fire for each 600 point aggregate will be two slow-fires, two timed-fires and two rapid-fire stages.
