ORLANDO, Fla. — Glock introduced three new pistols at the 2009 SHOT Show in Orlando–the G22 RTF2 with slide serration pattern as well as the G20 SF and G29 SF.
The G22 RTF2 (Rough Textured Frame version #2) has more than 4,000 raised pyramids on the front, rear and sides of the polymer receiver. The raised pyramids are also located on the thumb rests for increased grip traction. In addition, the slide on the G22 RTF2 has a new, modern look with crescent-shaped serrations located at the rear of the slide.
“We have already had several major agencies commit to the G22 RTF2 and have had an outpouring of interest from our Commercial and Law Enforcement distributors about our new product,” said Director of Sales Craig Dutton.
10mm AUTO SF pistols
The SF-series pistols, introduced in 2007 with the 21 SF full-size in .45 caliber followed by the 30 SF subcompact .45 in 2008, are now chambered in 10mm Auto in the G20 SF and G29 SF pistols.
As another option to the G20 SF, a six-inch hunting barrel will be available.
The GLOCK Standard Rail design will be retained on the three new pistols to allow the use of all GLOCK tactical lights, lasers and accessories.
