According to Mr. Ted Nugent, the crowds for his seminars at the National Rifle Association’s Annual Meetings and Exhibits are constantly the largest for the conventions. After sitting in on this year’s event in the Spirit of Pittsburgh room in the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, titled “I Still Believe,” that statement of fact is very easy to believe.
“I always make a point of going to Uncle Ted’s events,” said one attendee from Pennsylvania. “He’s funny, he’s entertaining, and he tells the truth like no one I’ve ever heard before.”
Part of the truth that Ted told this year is that you have to get involved. “We need to educate ourselves, to upgrade ourselves, to do the same to our families our neighbors our colleague … That’s the battle cry.
“Make sure to relate to the public,” said Nugent. “Open a door, help change a tire, be a friend to the community with your NRA hat, shirt or gear in plain view. Reach out to your bloodbrothers.”
With that, the Motor City Madman lifted his hat, thanked the crowd, and made his way to the side of the stage for what is sure to be a long, long, long line of autograph seekers. They just can’t get enough of Uncle Ted.
