The 5.5-inch Remington offers nice balance and accuracy and was beautifully finished. Metal-to-metal fit was tight, and the wood grips were well fitted. It pointed nicely.

The 1858 New Army had a nice finish with a tight metal-to-metal fit. The wood grips had a very slight overlap. Balance was nice, and the 8-inch barrel offers a longer sight radius. Accuracy was good.
