Gun Tests Magazine, May 2011, Test Gun For Sale: The Kahr CW9, $500, has simple controls, with no external safety. The trigger pull is long, but breaks at only 6.2 pounds, which is lighter than the Solo’s trigger. We found the gun to be very easy to handle in all ways, once the shooter is used to the long trigger pull. The gun did what it was supposed to, with little fanfare and at a reasonable price.
