MidOcean Partners, a middle market private equity fund, and Bushnell Outdoor Products, a manufacturer in sports optics, premium eyewear, and outdoor accessories for more than 60 years, announced August 26 that Bushnell has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Millett Industries in Huntington Beach, Calif. The transaction is expected to close within the next thirty days. The terms of the purchase agreement were not disclosed.

Of those registered voters, 83 percent say they will vote in the November election, according to a new survey by the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation. Norris was named the overall winner of the Steel Master Division while earning multiple top three finishes in several divisions at the 2008 Steel Challenge World Speed Shooting Championships held Aug 14-17, 2008 in Piru, California. Along with competing in and winning the Steel Master Division, B.J. finished second, third and second in the Rimfire Optics, Limited and Open Divisions respectively. In the overall standings, Norris finished in a close second place to Army Specialist K. C. Eusebio of the United States Army Marksmanship Unit.
