Mark W. DeYoung, ATK senior vice president and president of ATK Armament Systems has been elected to the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation’s Board of Directors. His term will begin on January 1, 2009.
An avid sportsman, DeYoung is well respected within the shooting sports and conservation communities with more than 20 years of outdoor industry and business acumen.
“ATK is always looking toward the future, and in doing so, we must consider the implications that legislation has on hunting and the shooting sports. CSF and the [National Assembly of Sportsmen’s Caucuses] are at the epicenter of making sure sportsmen’s issues are promoted and protected in the halls of government and I am honored to be able to contribute to their efforts,” commented DeYoung, who also serves on the boards of the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers’ Institute, and the Wildlife Management Institute.
“ATK has been a staunch supporter of both the CSF and NACS, and we are delighted to have Mark DeYoung volunteer his talents and time to our cause,” stated CSF President Jeff Crane.
ATK Armament Systems is the world’s largest ammunition manufacturing entity and the leading supplier of ammunition to the U.S. Military, U.S. Law Enforcement, and the shooting sports.
