GunAuction to Watch: WWII Walther German P-38 AC45

(GunReports.com) — Occasionally, a curio firearm makes it through years of inattention unscathed and gets listed on GunAuction.com in amazingly good condition. Such is the case with a WWII Walther German P-38 AC45 that the seller, “Oregon Guns,” lists in Auction #11044725.

“Oregon Guns” writes in the seller’s description that this pistol is a 100% original WWII German Nazi military war trophy brought back to the states. Part of an estate sale, the story is that the P-38 was grandfather’s “bring back” gun from the war. Made in 1945, it includes the original German-marked magazines, the original holster with Nazi markings, and is in absolutely beautiful condition.

The seller says this Walther looks like it was fired very little. In fact, the pistol still has some of the original packing grease inside. It has the original military late-war finish and lacks import marks, of course.
