Del-Ton Introduces
New Rifle for 2013

(GunReports.com) — Elizabethtown, NC-based Del-Ton has introduced a new rifle 2013 designed for the sport shooter. The DTI Evolution, $1300, weighs 6.5 pounds and is built for sporting applications, but in particular 3-gun competition. The DTI Evolution will begin shipping in the first quarter of 2013.

Key features include a 16-inch CMV chrome-lined, mid-length gas system and lightweight barrel. The barrel has a 1-in-9 twist and is enclosed by a Samson Evolution 12.37-inch free-float rail. In the action, there’s an HPT/MPI-tested Carpenter 158 bolt with M4 feed ramps.

Furniture includes a Magpul CTR Mil-Spec buttstock and buffer tube with an H-buffer and a Magpul MOE+ grip. The trigger is a two-stage Mil-Spec unit. Sights are a Samson Quick Flip Dual Aperture rear and Samson folding front unit.
