(GunReports.com) — Benchmade Knife Company is supplying knives for the winners and second-place finishers in the Smallbore 3-Position and Prone Championships, held at the NRA’s National Pistol and Rifle Championships in Camp Perry, which began this week.
The champions will receive Benchmade’s 581 Barrage. Constructed out of M390 Super Steel, the 60-62 rated hardness blade has a length of 3.6 inches and relies on the handy AXIS-Assist locking mechanism.
The runner-ups will be awarded one of ten 551 Griptilian knives. Also with the AXIS locking mechanism, the Griptilians come standard with dual thumb-stud openers, a 3.45 inch blade along with a Noryl GTX grip.
Also, each champion in the 3-Position and Prone events will receive a Benelli shotgun as part of their awards package.
