Louisville, KY–O.F. Mossberg & Sons Inc. has introduced a rimfire version of the 464 lever action centerfire rifle rolled out earlier this year.
The rimfire 464 features a button-rifled 18-inch blued barrel, recessed muzzle crown, top-tang safety, and a soft rubber buttpad on a hardwood stock.
Elsewhere on the gun, the machined receiver ejection port was designed to ensure proper scope clearance of spent cartridges. The rimfire gun’s receiver comes factory drilled and tapped for easy optics installation.
The gun’s tubular magazine offers 13+1 capacity, and comes with a free gun lock and 2- year limited warranty. The overall length is 35 3/4′ with a 13 3/4′ length of pull, and weighs 5.6 lbs. Retail price is to be determined.
