(GunReports.com) — NRA’s Competitive Shooting Division is hosting the “Pyramyd Air” Air Gun Range during the 2011 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Sponsored by Pyramyd Air, the Air Gun Range will be open from April 28 to May 1 in Room 315 of the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
“Pyramyd Air is pleased to be sponsoring the Air Gun Range this year,” said founder and owner Joshua Ungier. “We’re focused on increasing the number of shooters and involving people of all ages in the shooting sports. For Pyramyd Air, it isn’t just a business – it’s a passion.”
As sponsor for the Air Gun Range, Pyramyd Air has promised to stock the range with air guns for all ages as well as pellets and target traps. Additional equipment will be provided by Air Arms, AirForce, Air Venturi, Beeman, Crosman, Evanix, Gamo, IZH-Baikal, Sam Yang, Stoeger and Umarex.
The Air Gun Range will operate during the following hours:
Thursday, April 28: 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Friday, April 29: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday, April 30: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday, May 1: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The Pyramyd Air Air Gun Range is open to all ages at $1 for every five shots (minors must be accompanied by an adult). The firing line will be supervised by NRA Certified Instructors and Coaches who will also provide assistance and instruction.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for first time or inexperienced shooters. Our team of instructors will be there to provide one-on-one assistance, and hopefully all attendees will walk away with a desire to continue their involvement in the shooting sports,” said Air Gun Program Coordinator Jessica McClain.
Additional activities at the Pyramyd Air Air Gun Range will include demonstrations of the .50-caliber Sam Yang Dragon Claw air rifle (10 a.m. and 3 p.m.) and a display of new air guns, products and electronic targets.
