Savage Expands Centerfire Hunting Lineup With New Offerings

0

Savage Arms continues to expand its lineup of bolt-action hunting rifles built around the precision of the Model 110 action. New hunting models include:

14/114 Classics – This elegant lineup, with its beautiful checkered walnut and high-luster blued finish has changed the way people look at Savage. But don’t let the Classic’s good looks fool you — It still shoots like a Savage! For 2008, the straight-stocked American Classic will be available in left-hand models. Also, additional aesthetic improvements have been made to the whole Classic Series, with a new smooth barrel locknut and a redesigned and relocated bolt release.

11/111 BTH – This hunting model sports a vented thumbhole laminate stock, a feature normally reserved for varmint and target rifles. MSRP is $735.

10 Predator Hunter – This model, with its full-coverage Mossy Oak Brush camo and 22” medium-contour barrel, was originally introduced with an internal magazine. This year it will be available with a detachable box magazine. MSRP is $760.

Sporter Actions – For those who wish to build a custom hunting rifle based on the Savage 110 action, carbon-steel sporter actions can now be purchased separately. Actions include: bolt assembly, AccuTrigger assembly, barrel locknut, recoil lug, trigger guard, magazine box assembly and receiver assembly. MSRP is $446.
